An organization like IHMS simply couldn’t exist without the dedication of its passionate volunteers, who help make the Summer Academy and Festival a success year after year.
IHMS is powered by volunteers. With the support of over 100 committed individuals, we are able to organize and run every aspect of the Summer Academy and Festival. Under the guidance of the director, volunteers contribute in many areas, including: - Logistics & transportation - Student catering - On-site organization at the Adriaan Roland Holst School - Local coordination of concert events

Volunteers are automatically insured through a collective policy provided by the Municipality of Bergen. More information is available here.
For certain volunteer roles, we may request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
