From July 26th to August 9th 2026, IHMS transforms Bergen and Noord-Holland into a dynamic academy and festival, welcoming the world’s most promising young musicians to learn, perform, and connect under the guidance of internationally renowned artists.

Personalized Masterclasses:
Each participant will engage in three masterclasses per week, sharpen their skills and exploring new artistic horizons under the mentorship of our acclaimed teachers

Collaborative Coaching:
Violin, viola and cello students will work closely with our piano coaches to refine their repertoire. These collaborations come alive during festival concerts, where students and accompanists share the stage for professional-level performances.

Creative Improvisation:
Step beyond tradition with an improvisation workshop led by a master of the art, unlocking new dimensions of your musical expression.

Live Festival Performances:
Every student will shine in live concerts and will give half a recital and when possible registered professionally.
