About Filip

As a soloist, he has performed with the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Szent István Philharmonic in Budapest, the Archetti Chamber Orchestra and the Radom Chamber Orchestra. He has appeared at festivals across Europe, including the International Holland Music Sessions, where his musical sensitivity and expressive playing made a lasting impression.

Artistic vision

For his Moving Talent Fellowship, Filip has chosen one of the greatest masterpieces in the chamber music repertoire: Schubert's String Quintet in C major.

Rather than presenting the work in isolation, Filip explores its remarkable legacy by placing it alongside Vladimir Martynov's Schubert-Quintet (Unfinished), a contemporary meditation inspired by Schubert's masterpiece. Together, the two works invite audiences to hear how timeless music continues to inspire new artistic voices almost two centuries later.

With this programme, Filip wants to create a deeper connection between audience and music, encouraging listeners to make the work part of their own memories, emotions and personal experiences.

In hir own words

"I would like to participate in the Moving Talent Fellowship not only to gain experience and valuable artistic guidance, but also to return to a place that will always remain in my memory and heart. Last year's International Holland Music Sessions showed me what it means to perform for an audience that truly listens. In the future, I want to bring audiences closer to the music, so they can make it their own, surround it with their own memories, history and intimacy."
