Moving Talent – Young Masters in Motion is an international talent development project by International Holland Music Sessions (IHMS) in collaboration with the Matangi Quartet.

Young top-level classical musicians are invited to develop their artistic voice, not only as performers, but as creative makers shaping the future of classical music.

Sunniva Skaug

Viola

Norwegian violist Sunniva Skaug is a passionate chamber musician with a strong interest in creating meaningful concert experiences that bring performers and audiences closer together.

She is currently pursuing her Master's degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with Lars Anders Tomter. Previously, she studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she completed her Bachelor's degree under Francien Schatborn and Marjolein Dispa. Before entering higher education, she studied privately with Julia Dinerstein, having switched from violin to viola at the age of nine.

Gabriel Crist

Piano

American pianist Gabriel Crist is a versatile musician whose interests extend far beyond the piano.

Alongside his work as a pianist, he is an active composer, conductor and performer on historical keyboard instruments, bringing a broad musical perspective to everything he does.

Gabriel completed his Bachelor of Music at the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, where he studied with Fabio Bidini. From the autumn of 2026, he continues his studies at the Yale School of Music with Boris Berman and Wei-Yi Yang.

Filip Krzeszowiec

Cello

Polish cellist Filip Krzeszowiec is one of the most promising young cellists of his generation. He currently studies with Alexander Gebert at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and, since 2026, with Jérôme Pernoo at the École Supérieure de Musique in Paris.

Filip has won first prizes at several international competitions, including the International Michał Spisak Competition, the Jan Vychytil International Cello Competition in Prague, the International Bach Solo Competition in Poznań and the Talents for Europe Competition in Slovakia. He has also received prestigious scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Young Poland, the Polish Children's Fund and the Hans und Eugenia Jütting Stiftung.
